09-02-25 : Last Thursday Whyatts Warriors went to St Louis Children's Hospital and donated $1500.00 to the foundation that helps provide fuel cards, meal vouchers, and helps to supply the "prize" cabinet for kids who are receiving treatment. Kids who are receiving treatment are allowed to pick out a toy or "prize" during outpatient and hospital stays. This was something Whyatt looked forward to every time he went there. He knew where that cabinet was and would beeline right for it to pick out a toy. It is just a little something that helps the kids feel normal for a moment and not think needles, or chemo, or doctors.
This is money that we have raised over the summer during our cookout fundraisers and we hope to be able to continue to help families who are affected by pediatric cancer in any way that we can, and our biggest fundraiser of the year is happening in 2 weeks! If you know of anyone in our area who is battling pediatric cancer and could benefit from a little help or assistance, please share our information with them.
We are still a very young organization and very small, completely volunteer based, and we are passionate about our cause. We simply want to help families affected by pediatric cancer.
